一、教学目标:

1. 语言知识目标:

1) 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash,movie

能掌握以下句型:

①  —What are you doing?       —I'm watching TV.

②  — What's he\she doing?    —He's\she's using the computer. 

③  —What are they doing?     —They're listening to a CD.  

2) 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。

3) 能运用所学的知识,描述人们正在干的事情。

2. 情感态度价值观目标:

通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:

1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。

2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, having dinner… 等

2. 教学难点:

现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音,能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

三、教学方法

Inducing, repeating, practicing, and role playing.

四、教学思路

本节课的教学任然围绕学生的听、说、读、写等方面能力的培养,依据课本内容开展任务型听力活动,获得理解、识别和处理相关信息的能力。通过丰富多彩的口语练习,使学生掌握现在进行时,同时使学生具备比较熟练地运用所学语言表达人们正在做什么的能力。引导学生同步阅读本节课本上出现的短语及句子,要求学生能运用文中短语写句子。让学生根据自己的照片(或自己家庭成员、朋友的照片)用现在进行时态写一段描述性的文字,从而训练学生的写作能力。

五、教学手段

1.教师:准备课件、录音机和磁带,准备球类、电话、麦克风等实物教具和教学挂图,准备表现正在做事情的图片或照片。
 2.学生:准备调查用的表格,搜集一些自己、朋友或家人的照片,尤其是表现正在做事情的照片。

六、教学步骤

Step l: Revision & Warming-up

利用教具创设情境,以旧引新。由于课文内容过于简单扼要,没有情境铺垫,学生难以进入学习语言的状态,因此创设循序渐进的情境非常必要。在课前准备一些球类、电话、麦克风等教具,创设下列情境,把学生在轻松的情境中引到学习新知中去。
    For example:
    T: I bring a lot of things here. Do you like them?
    Ss: Yes,I do.
    T: I can play basketball very well. Now I am playing basketball. Can you play it?
    Ss: Yes,I can.
    T: OK, now please play it.
    (当学生打球的时候问其他学生)T: What is he/she doing?
    S:He/She is playing basketball.(帮学生回答)(接着教师呈现其他教具,让学生在练习过程中通过视、听、说初步掌握词汇与句型。)
Step 2: Present the new words
建议利用图片呈现本课时的新单词newspaper,use,soup,wash等。
For example:

T: Boys and girls, look at Picture. What is the man doing?
Ss: He is reading a newspaper.
T: Look at Picture 2. What is she doing?
Ss: She is watching TV.
T: Look at Picture 3. What is the girl doing?
Ss: She is washing the dishes.       '
    (教师用同样的方式教学生其他动词短语do one's homework,eat dinner,talk on the phone)
step3Start the new lesson

  1. T: Ok, today we’ll learn a new unit. First, let’s look at some pictures and talk about them.

(Show a photo of Han Hong.)

T: Who is she?

Ss: Han Hong.

T: What is she doing? 她正在做什么?

S1:Sing

(老师补充出完整的句子:She is singing)

由学生熟悉的人物入手来导入新句型,更能激起学生的学习兴趣

  1. Use the same way to talk about the other four pictures.
  2. 老师引出今天的新知:现在进行时。并让学生回顾刚才的句子,自己总结出该时态的句型结构。(通过五张图片的强调学生对句型有了一定印象,再让他们自己找出这些句子的共同点就不难了,比起老师直接教授句型更容易让学生接受。)

4. Show some other pictures. This time the teacher can ask pairs of students to make dialogues according to the pictures like you did before. Then ask one group to ask, another group to answer. (让基础稍好的同学示范来带动课堂气氛,再分组练习就不会让学生感到突兀,更能增强他们的自信心.)

5. Teach the new words and phrases: newspaper, read a newspaper, wash, use, soup

6. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures.

7. Check the answers with the Ss.

8. 现在进行时的用法讲解:
    (1)现在进行时由be(am,is,are)+现在分词构成。
    I am watching TV.我正在看电视。
    (2)现在进行时表示现在正在进行的动作。例如:
    I'm doing my homework.
    我正在写作业。(现在正在进行的动作)
  (3)表示现阶段正在进行,但此刻不一定在进行的动作。例如:
    She is translating a novel these days.
    她最近几天正在翻译一本小说。
    (4)有些动词,如:come,go,leave,arrive, begin,start,stay等的现在进行时,可表示将要进行的动作,一般跟时间状语,表示动作发生的时间。例如:
    The train is arriving soon.火车就要到了。
    I'm leaving for Shanghai tomorrow.我明天动身去上海。
    (5)现在进行时与always,forever等词连用,表示反复出现的或成习惯的动作,含有“赞叹”“厌烦”等感情色彩。例如:
    He is always thinking of his work.他总是想着他的工作。
    (6)动词现在分词的构成:

1、一般在动词词尾加-ing。
2、以不发音的字母e结尾的动词把e去掉然后加-ing。

3、重读闭音节结尾词尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,需双写最后一个辅音字母,再加-ing。

Step4Listening Practice(听力练习)

1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now let’s listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 

2. Play the recording for the Ss twice.

3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a.

Step5Oral Practice(练习)

1. T: Now let's make our own dialogues. First, let me show you. (Ask a student to do some activity like playing basketball. Then ask one student what is he doing?)   .

2. Let the Ss make the similar dialogues in pairs or in groups. (在分组过程中不会表达的同学可安排他们进行表演动作,让每一位同学都有事可做.)

3. Ask some groups to show in the front.

Step6: Pair work (结对活动)

1. Now, role-play the conversation with your partners.

2. Let some pairs to act out the conversation in front of the class.

Step7:Homework(家庭作业):

1.  通过今天的学习自己想想动词加ing的规律

2.把下列句子变为进行时态。

1) I look at the blackboard.

2) We drink tea.

3) He and I do our homework.

3. 完成句子。

1. --What’s Li Lei doing?

    -- He _____________. (read )

 2.--What’s his mother doing?

    --She ____________. (write )

3. --What are they doing?

    --They_________________. (play soccer)

4. --What are David and Mary doing?

    --They_________________. (have dinner)

5. --What’s Jenny doing?

    --She _____________. (run )

            What is she doing?            She is singing.

七、教学设计理念

1、本单元的教学活动始终遵循任务型教学的教学理念,以学生为学习的主体,以任务为中心,在运用语言完成任务的过程中来学习,体会和掌握语言。

2、自始自终贯穿了以交际为目的的原则(在做中学,在学中用)。

3、在教学过程中,关注学生的生活实际和生活体验,让其贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近时代,树立以学生为本的思想,提倡学生参与、体验、亲身实践、独立思考、合作探究,从而实现教学方式和学习方式的转变
