3.直接引语转换间接引语中,注意一些关键动词的变化和人称代词的变化。

TASK-BASED LANGUAGE TEACHING

教材分析

本单元围绕"转述他人话语和谈论成绩报告单"开展教学活动,学习间接引语、一般过去时态及情态动词can/could表示能力的用法。在自我评价、同伴互评、教师评价重学习运用间接引语。

本节课围绕"谈论soap opera"开展教学活动,初步了解和学习间接引语。学生会认识到什么是肥皂剧并且能够讨论肥皂剧中的剧情和人物。由于话题比较接近生活实际,能够极大地调动学生参与课堂活动的兴趣与积极性,使学生有话可说,可谈。

 学情分析

其实学生在日常生活中经常转述他人的话语,只是他们不了解直接引语与间接引语的概念而已。但在汉语的转述通常改变的是人称,而英语中还涉及到时态的变化,这也是学生难以掌握的地方。本课是本单元的第一课时,只是让学生初步了解,应该不难做到。学生目前比较熟悉和喜欢的电视剧是《美人心计》和《宫》,于是觉得在导入部分展示该剧的剧照,用以调动学生的学习兴趣和积极性!

 

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Warming-up

CHANT:

I am a student. I am a student.

She said she is a student.

I can swim . I can swim.

He said he could swim.

I will pass the exam. I will pass the exam.

He said he would pass the exam.

Task  Show some pictures about the soup opera, ask Ss to describe the pictures,using their own words first. Then invite several Ss to say sth. about soap operas.

Step 2 Pre-task

Task1, Present some pictures to the Ss, ask students to talk about what they say.

Task2, Change the direct speech into indirect speech.

Task3, Get the Ss to do some exercises about indirect speech .

Repeat this process with the other sentences .

 

Step 3 While-task

SB Page 26 , 1a .

Task1, Ask a student to read the four questions .

Task2, Point out the TV screens in the picture .Ask one student to read what the person says in the first picture .Then ask another student :What did she/he say ? Help to answer :She/He said she/he was having a surprise party for Lana on Friday night .

Task, Repeat with the other pictures .

 

Step 4 Post-task(listening training 1b,2a&2b)

Task1, Ask Students to look at the pictures and descriptions, try to get more information before listening.

Task2, Play the recording and correct the answersof Ib

Task3, Ask several Ss to read these sentences .

Task4, Play the recording twice. Let Ss finish the exercises.

Task5, Check the answers .

Task6, Turn to page89, practice the conversation.
