教学设计是 “一切从学生出发”,以学生对知识的理解能力、掌握程度为依据,教师在设计中既要设计教,更要设计学,怎样使学生学得更好,达到更好的教学效果是教学设计的指导思想。 教案只局限于课堂的“教”, 而教学设计所包含的内容更广泛、全面,不仅能使教师明确教什么,怎么教,通过教学设计教师对为什么这样教的依据也有明确的认识。教学研讨中用“教学设计”取代“教案”并不是用新词取代旧词。而是英语教学与研究进入了更科学、更系统、更关注学习者的“学”的新阶段。 教学设计为新课程以学生为主体,以启发、引导为宗旨的教学理念的贯彻与实施提供了科学的方法。学生是教学的中心,是教学的主体。教学就是教师教会学生学习。教师和学生都是课堂的参与者,但他们的作用各不相同。教师不能代替学生在课堂中的主体地位。
教师在英语听说课堂中应以学生为中心,尊重学生的课堂主体地位,尽量多给学生提供交际的机会,强化学生的语言输出。以学生为中心,教师还应做到因材施教,应考虑到各个学生的不同生活、教育背景、性格特点及智力差异,在课堂上根据学生具体情况组织不同的活动、提供多种交际机会,以满足不同学生的需要。

一、教学内容

 

    谈论身体各部位不舒适的感觉,并学习提建议的表达方式,从而引出should(not)…这个表示提建议的语言结构

二、设计说明

    本部分功能:谈论身体各部位不舒适的感觉,并学习提建议的表达方式,从而引出should(not)…这个表示提建议的语言结构

    适合级别:八年级(8grade)

    课       时:一课时(45minutes)

课 前 准 备:让学生收集有关健康的英文词汇如:疾病名称、形容精神状态的形容词、健康食物名称、有益于健康的运动或活动、提供建议的词句等。

    学生情况:初中学生的抽象思维能力较低,形象思维能力强,但注意力容易分散。本课拟以动漫、动画、小品表演等形式展示,并配以丰富的色彩,从而增强学生的兴趣和注意力。       

三、教学详案

    教学重难点:

    1、重点:掌握一些词汇与短语即知识目标①和句型即知识目标②。

    2、难点:谈论自己在生活中所遇到的身体不适及一些表示建议的方法。

Step 1. Warm up

1、Listen to a song

Step 2 Presentation

1、Present the teaching aims.

2、play a game

①I do, and you guess. The teacher does different actions. Let students guess what illness he/ she has.(They can use Chinese).Learn and master the new words.

②I say, and you do. The teacher says words of illness, according to which students do different actions to consolidate the new words.

③I do, and you say. The teacher does different actions. Students say them in English.

④I’m ill, please help me. The teacher pretends to be ill and does actions, asks:What’s wrong with me? Guide the Ss to answer:You have a… and then teacher asks: What should I do?helps the Ss to answer: You should go to see a doctor.

Repeat with different actions.

Step 3 A short play

Ask 2 students to act out a dialog happening in the hospital, one student acts as a patient, the other acts as a doctor. Using the words about illness and giving advice.

Step 4 practice

1、Use the pictures in1C, T and Ss practice the following dialog

Ss:What’s wrong / the matter with you?

T:I have a headache. What should I do?

Ss:You should go to see a doctor.

2、Group work

Work in groups of 3. the first one pretends to be a patient and performs actions, the second one asks questions, then tells the third one. Finish 1 b and1c, ask some pairs to perform in front of the class.

Step 5. Listening train

1、Listen to1 a, answer the following questions and then check the answers.

①What’s wrong with Kangkang?

②What should he do?

2、Play the tape again, Ss follow the tape and imitate its intonation and pronunciation.

3、Read1a. Act1aout in pairs. Finish1a.

Step 6. Consolidation

1、Individual work. Ask students to read 2 and match. Check the answers.

2、Let Ss practice dialogs in pairs according to 2 .Then act them out. Finish 2:

Listen to 3. Let students number the pictures in 3 and write down the advice. Finish 3.

Step 8. Summarize

 Teacher summarizes what the students have learnt today together with the students.

Step 6. Homework

Make a survey in groups. Find out the causes of common illness in our daily life. Then think about what we should do or what we shouldn’t do.

教学反思

本课的设计以及健康为主线,把教学内容按照词、句、文即从易到难的顺序呈现给学生。从呈现图片入手,然后,复习人体各部分,常见的疾病和如何解决的词语、句子,讨论健康情况询问和应答的句式,到进一步展开的单人练习、双人活动和小组表演,最后到巩固和开放心作业,循序渐进地展开教学流程,并加以多媒体教学手段的辅助配合,使学生由最初对课文的感性思维上升到理性思维阶段,增加了学生的语言实践经验,促进了他们综合使用语言能力的提高。
